Energy

Energy is the capacity or ability to do work or produce change in a system. It exists in various forms, including kinetic energy (energy of motion), potential energy (stored energy due to position), thermal energy (heat), chemical energy (stored in chemical bonds), electrical energy (flow of electric charge), and nuclear energy (stored in atomic nuclei). Energy can be transformed from one form to another but cannot be created or destroyed, as described by the law of conservation of energy. It is a fundamental concept in physics and plays a crucial role in various processes, including mechanical movement, heating, electricity generation, and chemical reactions. The measurement of energy is typically expressed in joules (J) in the International System of Units (SI).
